The 17th and Peachtree (1382 Peachtree) is a 32-story, 281-dwelling-unit apartment building including ground floor retail space and a 306-space parking garage occupying Levels 4 11 of the tower. The residential tower is founded on steel reinforced concrete caissons extending into the bedrock. The piers are in a regular grid below columns, shear walls, and supporting perimeter and interior grade beams. The tower superstructure consists of steel reinforced concrete columns set on a regular grid. The columns support cast-in-place post tensioned concrete floor slabs on Level 2 through the roof and the mechanical mezzanine. PR&A provided design document review, construction monitoring, and closeout services.
