Office & Health Care

Climate resilience is crucial for office and healthcare properties to ensure uninterrupted operations, protect occupants and pantients, critical systems, and safeguard long-term asset value amid increasing climate-related risks. PR&A has assessed and provided construction oversight for many of the office buildings that shape our nation’s skylines including high-rise towers, corporate campuses, life science and biomanufacturing facilities, medical office buildings, and hospitals.

Retail & Mixed Use

A resilient retail property can help minimize business disruptions, protect tenant revenue streams, and maintain foot traffic and occupancy during and after extreme weather events. Our team has experience with mixed use and retail properties across the country including regional mall portfolios, anchored retail centers, mixed-use developments, and adaptive reuse projects.

Hotel

Hotels and resorts are often located in natural settings and along coastal corridors, which exposes them to direct impact from extreme weather and other climate related events. PR&A has assessed over 10,000 rooms across our hospitality portfolio, which includes coastal resorts, golf course resports, ski and mountain resorts, business lodging, luxury towers, adaptive reuse projects, and historic buildings.

Historical Properties & Adaptive Reuse

Historic buildings are typically built to legacy building codes, which require careful review to ensure resilience to weather and climate events. We apply the appropriate disciplines necessary to bring buildings and systems back to optimum conditions. This applies to industrial facilities, office buildings, hospitals, college and university buildings, parking facilities, and a broad range of other facilities.
